「 ★ 」   ⋮   Ｖ Ｉ Ｃ Ｔ Ｉ Ｍ ．   ⋮  ━━     Monsters   can   be   …   scary.   VERY   scary.   He   does   not   like   it   when   the   monsters   hit   him   …   and   yet,   he   found   that   he   cannot   bring   himself   to   FIGHT   back.   Something   like   fighting   was   something   a   small,   sickly   child   was   not   fit   for   anyway   and   he   just   let   one   more   ’   ouchie   ’   be   added   to   the   mix.   This   sort   of   thing   wasn’t   any   different   though;   he’s   known   the   monsters   all   of   his   life   and   the   monsters   HURT   all   his   life.

                 Yet   these   monsters   seemed   different   …   not   like   the   ones   in   his   head   that   haunted   him.   Besides,   he   actually   HAS   someone   now.   So    this   wasn’t   as   scary   as   it   could   have   been.

                 He   looks   towards   the   other   child   that   had   been   accompanying   them;   glance   going   between   both   the   child   and   the   bandage   offered.   Any   other   child   would   have   taken   the   bandage   gladly;   wanting   to   EASE   the   pain   …   but   he   second   guesses   and   frowns.
