We emerged from the ruined shack in the wake of the dust storm. Thankfully I’d managed to get some sleep through it, but I still woke with an undercurrent of worry for Miapoh. My bleary state somehow let me ignore distractions long enough to examine the series of tassels left behind by the former campers. Each was knotted differently and some were made of differing materials. Rope, string, twine and... gut.
We managed to get them all wrapped up and recorded in time for an amal’jaa patrol to arrive! With thanks to mine own feline grace, and Charlette’s strength we managed to carry Y’dhin and his twisted ankle to the relative safety of Little Ala Mhigo. I wonder what the knots’ mysteries will open to us when we get a change to examine them.
