zim occasionally will get so fascinated with some human object or concept that he'll put invasion on the backburner and devot days or weeks to figuring it out (often ending up going to dib b/c only a human could explain something so strange and useless)
nd then at the drop of a hat zim will get bored and move onto the next thing
+ since dib goes thru zims trash like the garbage child he is, he always finds the stuff zim throws away and questions him abt it and normally ends up getting yelled at (not like thats a break from the norm anyway)
