yea yea i mean yea it’s for everyone important to me like you’re sitting at this ice cream shop down next to the closest super target where i live, and it’s at 11 pm on a tuesday so it’s open but there’s no one there but you’re sitting on a bench smiling softly w the yellow hanging lights lightly outlining your face as you hold a sugar cone w melting chocolate ice cream w rainbow sprinkles and you have the sound of laughing as you try to lick it all before it drips past your fingers all the while a soft hum of the greek’s pizzeria next door’s ac interrupts what should be a p quiet night

Okay I’m gonna say it because damn has it been bothering the hell out of me.

Why do people absolutely seem to love to hate things?

Like I’m not defending the 7x01 in any way and how dirty they did both Abe and Glenn, but come the fuck on. There is a difference in being disappointed in a show and actually being happy that people are disappointed in a show.

Like I’m sad and I’m hurt and when I see people talking about quitting the show and critics slamming it, I feel disappointed and ashamed but while I understand that those feelings are valid, I’m not reveling in it. I don’t even enjoy thinking about it. So why do I always see people celebrating that? What the fuck is there to celebrate?!

Overall none of this should elicit any kind of good feelings besides the actually good parts of the episode, and I’m just honestly boggled as to why every time this show fucks up people love to focus on the negative in almost a positive way and how people can shit on the show and then talk about how it goes so ignored and deserves more. Or have already given up on the show and are happy when they see others do the same. I just....

I know this seems to be a thing in general, this whole concept of being harsh and negative towards what you love and not caring about shit but as someone who has had to spend extended amounts of time feeling messed up and hurt and sad and is breaking down everyday.....I just don’t get it. I don’t get how people can be so okay with stewing in their own hurt and feeling good when others feel the same hurt that they do. Like where do you get the energy for that?

And as a side note, there is a difference between defending the criticism and just straight up trying to pick a fight, but that’s another story.
