TODOROKI’S HERO GEAR

The synopsis of his gear is mainly made to simultaneously be frost && fire resistant, as well as thermoregulators for his quirk.

VEST BRACE

The brace around his collar is a device that has several vents designed to cool down or heat his body temperature. These exhale cooled or heated air much like a thermostat. This neckbrace is automatic and thermoregulates the entirety of his jacket. There are dials, however, on the front that allows him to adjust the temperature manually in the event, his body temperature fluctuates too fast for the device to detect.

JACKET && PANTS

The jacket is made of kevlar to make sure it doesn’t get totaled by the flames, as well as internal ventilation to thermoregulate his upper body. If you touch his jacket and try to carry it, it’s rather heavy && flexible, unlike regular fabric, as the material also has built-in small windpipes both in && out of his jacket; to exhaust steam or to thaw frostbite.

UTILITY BELT

His utility belt comes with several communicators, gauzes, bandaids, handtowel (to be heated or cooled depending on what kind of compress the person needs), painkillers, whistle && radio to make sure that he’s prepared for any dire situation.

SNOW BOOTS

His snow boots help him move across his ice by using grips under it to claw the ice to prevent him from slipping. They’re designed to have a grip even if his steps aren’t as forceful. These boots are also made of fire-resistant material, so they don’t burn if he uses his fire.

WRIST BANDS && SHOULDER MOUNTS

They’re designed to make sure that the extreme temperatures for his hands don’t travel up to his upper body, since his hands are the focal point of his quirk usage. It’s at this part that his temperature is at the most extreme, and to make sure it doesn’t spread, these guards exert the counteractive temperature to make sure his body doesn’t drop or exceed too much; the ones of his left cool, the ones of his right heat.
