A New House, A New Life (closed RP with yeagerism)
Armin drove up the road lined with rickety white houses with dirt hidden in the crevices of the siding and pulled into the driveway at the next-to-last house of the street to start unloading the last batch of boxes from his beat up Ford. He was moving houses so to leave his parent's house and live closer to his college of choice at the same time.
As Armin was carrying the last box into the house, he noticed something strange about the house and the house next to it: they had two windows with porches directly underneath, and they were practically touching. They were so close Armin could practically climb out onto the roof over the porch and crawl over to the other person's window. Hopefully they're not a thief, Armin thought, putting the windows out of his mind.
He climbed the creaky steps up to the second floor and dumped the box he was holding onto the floor next to the stripped bed. Then he noticed the touching windows led straight to the window in his room. He sighed, shaking his head. What kind of person would build a house like this? He was disgruntled by the easy access his neighbor would have to his house when he caught sight of the person in mind in the room across from his. Shirtless. And wow, was he ripped. Armin sat staring, his mouth agape and his eyes round as quarters. Maybe this connecting house thing wasn't too bad.
