LITTLE BIG NEWS? Selling stuff at Animenyc :)))))

Hi everyone! Oh man where do I even begin? Well first thing’s first, AnimeNYC is happening this weekend and a dear, fellow artist friend of mine @angelirafer, (who is also part of a fantastic illustration group @yeagirls) has been so very kind as to allow me a sliver of table space at con to sell some of my works!

I will be selling little bookmark prints of a Hwogwarts series (as shown above) that I started as part of an art commission. Each piece will cost $3.

Eyyy lmao it's time for the Liberty City Anime Con review! :) Some pics from the table, including awesome cosplayers and con-goers who stopped by. (On Mobile, but I will add in all the cosplay credit and links in a bit) So this was an awesome weekend! As always, I am humbled by the experience of having people actually recognize my art or even take the time to stop and chat. :) Thank you! Your support is encouraging and inspiring, and I hope to only improve--and keep more things in stock! (Sorry to all the Klance fans on Sunday who were hoping to buy those last few prints ;') ) I'd also like to thank Studio Momotsuki for letting me tag onto their table, if only for a weekend. >;) To my tablemates and friends, both old and new, I am amazed at how much you have improved since our undergrad days! Keep on keeping on and working at your art; work life balance is the worst but I believe you can make it work. MVP award goes to non-artist @novelteanottes for helping us sell, break down, and all that math, haha. Annnd if you missed me this weekend, I'm also going to be around at Anime NYC with @theyeagirls so stay tuned ;)

Hello world! 

We are YEA girls! After much thought and collaborative debate, we ended up going with the simplest studio name we could think of. YEA girls consists of Yan Gabriella, Erica De Chavez, and Angeli Rafer. Too clever? Too obvious? 

Too bad. 

As a new 2017 initiative, we are starting our own studio collective in an effort to unify ourselves at future conventions and art fairs that we’ll be attending. Hopefully we’ll see you all there! Details of our public appearances are to come.
