oh my god there’s a Cignature member whose stage name is “Yeah” qoi4jfqpogkg
the way they write it in korean is “예아” which could be romanized “Ye-A” or “Yea” or something, and often “a” in names is romanized “ah” like in Ahin (아인) from Momoland, and sometimes you see Hyuna written Hyunah (or Hyun-a or Hyun-ah), and “Ye” is a fairly common element in names as well, like Yeeun from CLC and Yaebin from Hinapia (who prefers spelling her name “yae” in english, but the korean name is indeed 예빈). so Ye-A is a fairly normal name that anyone could have, and spelling it Ye-ah or even Yeah unhyphenated isn’t all that weird in concept. it’s just kind of funny that it looks like the english word lol.
and i think part of that has to be intentional, you know? cause that’s a stage name, her real name is Kim Ha-eun, and that’s the name she used when she was a member of Good Day. so choosing “Yeah” was probably twofold lol, it was meant to sound like a cool-sounding name (like how a lot of idols have stagenames that are just normal names that other people really do have, like ex-Momoland Yeonwoo, Dreamcatcher Dami, Jiu (Ji-yu), and Sua, hell there’s a Yoojung in OnlyOneOf lol, who was given that stagename even though Choi Yoojung from IOI/Weki Meki is like... pretty famous lol) as well as an english word with a cool connotation. like I’m sure there will be lots of like “oh yeahhh” and “hell yeahh” jokes from them haha, like in self-introductions on variety shows and whatnot lol.
