one of my favourite things about the trc fandom is that we all collectively just don’t care about the fact that there’s canon huge mythical creatures and mad nightmare demons in it. like the story has horrid beasts from hell, one of them is literally the main plot point in the last book, and yet I’ve never seen fanart of a single one of them because we all understandably decided that we prefer the horribly real messy teenagers with communication issues instead
