This triggered a whole niche of Clay hc's i have. And now i can't stop thinking about it (thanks @ninjacreature) (no seriously i've had a bit of art/writters block. i need all the inspo burst lowkey)
So here are some kid Clay hc + a lot of magican based hc's
I'd imagine he was sort of a trouble child. But not in the same way Aaron was.
Quick magician hc: Magician children are notorious at being quite the handful. Hence why age gaps of up to 100 years is COMMON. But he has just on a whole other level. Before magicans reach magical maturity, their magic is heavily connected to their emotions (magical maturity being reached somehwere between 70-110 years of age
Clay has stronge magic. He was just brimming with energy. He needed to move, run, climb. Wanda eventually would sort of trick him into running laps around the house until he got sleepy (starting the love for training early.)
Quick magician hc: Magicians of different groups are naturally drawn to their "element"
Now imagine that mixed with a magician child who's element is electricty and living in one of the most electrified places in the world.
Let me tell you: it was an issue. Chewed through cabels, broken outlets, fried machines of many kinds. When he was younger it was an accident. As he got older it was in a attempt to understand how things work. And when he got pissy it became intentional every now and again.
Even as a child he was quite the talker. A fast one. He would just talking his Wandas ear off, constantly. And when his obsession with weapons and armour (which would later develop into a obsession with knights) started he would beg his mom to borrow fact books on weapons. Fairytales were a no go (unless they had really cool swords in them.
He has one or two accents. I can't decide so i choosing both. One being from the fact English isn't first language (whatever magicians from the mountains speak is idfk) and southern one. Just every now and again, from nowhere, they slip out. Was a lot more prominent as a kid but even as a adult it slips out when he gets upset.
In another universe where he got to grow up with Fletch he'd intentionally act both overly like a smart-ass and dense simultaneously. Potentially even being a "Im not touching you" type.
Alright. i can't tell if this is ooc or not. I don't think it is, theoretically. But whatever. I think i had a similar draft with hc for all the magicians somewhere. Maybe i'll make one for both generations of the Moorington siblings as well. I'm just trying keep the creative gears running, so feel free to come with ideas or suggestions.
The ant colony I'm in got me constantly checking to see where a post came from so I know if it's serious or if it's just a human asking normal questions
