When Jared was eight years old, the King of Acklesland decided that his family, the noble Padaleckis, posed too much of a threat to royal authority to live. As the only survivor of what becomes known as the Padalecki Massacre, Jared has been living in hiding as a peasant ever since. But when the Prince’s Dragon Warriors come recruiting, he is tossed back into a world of intrigue, politics, and secrets, and forced to confront the very man who ordered his family’s murder.
This is like along the lines of an abo but not at all. I dunno yo, it’s awesome. Like really good. I love the way that jared is the person in less power but honestly holds his own through the entire work. And Jensen has to work through some shit but their relationship ends up being really great. Mostly the sassy as fuck dragons are amazing.
Jensen’s completely sick of his completely dull life; despite a great apartment, a job he loves, and well-intentioned friends who want nothing but the best for him, he’s bored out of his skull. When those well-intentioned friends drunkenly book him a trip to beautiful and exotic Los Roques, Venezuela, Jensen figures he’ll make the best of it, and if that happens to include a fling with a handsome and mysterious stranger he never expects to see again, so much the better.
So i have been hunting, as I so oft do, for fics that have big reveal moments. Like "I'm a spy" or "I have superpowers" or "I am actually a millionaire/famous singer or actor/ w.e." or, on the other hand "guys this is my boyfriends... he is one of those things." But faiilll. I need to like scour the fandom and make my own rec list of these... but who has the time. So if anyone can think of one, pleaasee tell me.
This is one I have found though and it is an all around great fic. Librarian Jensen trying to break out of his mold is adorable, and this Jared is hot and a half. Obviously there are complications (thus the title) but I think the characters react in a way that is true to themselves. Also, there is a wittle kitty named toothless and I wanna smoosh its wittle face.
So do you guys remember that time when I told my dad I was gay and then he said that's okay as long as you're fabulous, but then he said I wasn't fabulous and I ran him over with a train?
So "Young Justice" and "Green Lantern: The Animated Series" get cancelled, while unmitigated crap like "Regular Show" and "Annoying Orange", "Johnny Test," and "Nearly Naked Animals" are allowed to continue production?
