you know what though actually, berseria is a game that really stuck with me expressly BECAUSE you play as the “bad guy”. like you understand where velvet is coming from and what drove her to that, but you also know she is objectively Not a good person. 4/6 of the main party members aren’t good people. but they’re incredibly human. and seeing “good guys” like laphicet and eleanor have to reconcile the fact that these are incredibly sympathetic people with the fact that they do horrible things is so fascinating.
