you know those super intense action scenes juxtaposed with really emotional scenes and the show simultaneously flits about those two shots and it's shadowed by crescendo-ing music??? okay, i want that but with a shot of supergirl desperately fighting a final battle, battered and roughed up using her heat vision on full-power and screaming, then it cuts to lena just trying to do everything she can in the tower, crying, (what is she crying about? i have no idea. we can think about it later.) AND THEN, and then the music is Poison and Wine by the Civil Wars so kara's screams and lena's sobs will be puntuated with the repeating chorus of "I DON'T LOVE YOU, BUT I ALWAYS WILL."
