February 28 is my "bindaversary" each year and I like to look at my stats a bit (I'm always late to post it tho rip). I had hoped to reach 100 this year but 1 week into Binderary I realized that wasn't going to happen haha. But! I was very happy to hit 90 books total, for an average of 30 books/year. (Percentages wise this was 41% Star Wars and 18% non-fanfic books. Other 21% is a mixed bag).

I'm particularly excited about my increase in exchange books this year, as I had a goal from the beginning of last year to do more exchanges with other binders. Success! I jumped from 2 exchanges per year to a total of 7 for this year.

A big part of that was the OTHER really exciting thing I did this past year, which was attend that leather bookbinding course in Greece with four other Renegade members, and so of course we exchanged books. It was definitely one of the highlights of my 2024 already!

Goal for this year: finish all the things I've already committed myself to ahaha (at last count this is at least 16 of my 30 average books per year already spoken for, ack)

2017 Wrap-Up

It’s been only a matter of months since I started this blog, but in these months I have come to realize what a beautiful fandom I’m a part of. I’ve watched Doctor Who since 2011, but not until this year did I really realize how many other wonderful and talented and kind fans there are out there for me to connect with. Tumblr has fostered a place for me where I can feel comfortable about expressing my joy and never-ending love for a show that is full of more heart and kindness than other people can understand. For that, I am so thankful.

It is true that this is a small blog, but each and every one of my followers has helped me feel like I have a place here. In particular, I want to thank my mutuals for providing me with awesome content and also giving mine a chance. Love you guys (and really, any of my followers, talk to me anytime)!
