Still catching up on my #100daystobrave2019 #100daystobrave journey. I’m reading Day Fifteen’s entry “Ask the Hard Questions”. Sometimes we have questions on our mind that we are hesitant to ask God we fear that he won’t have the answers, or even worse, he DOES have the answer but it’s one we won’t like or are not looking for. My two takeaways from this reading are the two questions asked at the end: 1. What’s Your plan for me? 2. What am I supposed to be learning right now? I truly believe that 2019 is going to be a journey of learning for me. As we enter the final country on our #YearOfDiscovery, we'll be taking to heart something the world has taught us - the best discoveries occur when we simplify and eliminate distracting elements. Peru showed us this through the remnants of the great Incan civilization. Among the most technologically advanced people of their era, their ideas stemmed from making time for simple thought. In today's world of constant connectedness, finding time for simple thought can be a significant challenge unless we make it a priority. In Costa Rica, we're making simplification a priority and will be "unplugging" from social media for the next 10 days. We'll look forward to sharing our discoveries once we plug back in and hope you'll be eager to follow what we have in store. . .
