Kawasara moments in TBV so far

The conflict from TBV Chapter 4 where Kawaki promises to off himself after defeating Boruto and Sarada vows to prevent him from sacrificing either of them. The only thing we know is that Sarada doesn't like this plan of Kawaki killing Boruto: The reason is not explicitly stated by Ikemoto still and as readers, we are filling the blanks for Ikemoto.

2. Not really a kawasara crumb but that Kawaki (again) comments on Boruto's appearance asking if he has been adopted by the Uchiha Clan (Ch 3 TBV.) I guess you do take note of the appearance of someone you seeing after 3 years but a fangirl can dream lmao.

3. Sarada's injury in Ch13 after Jura leaves with Hidari's Soul Bulb. Kawaki is focusing on her and the injury. Honestly over here, its that Kawaki was behind Sarada while Konohamaru checked the damage on her, he glances behind from the corner of his eye when Boruto regains consciousness. Which means before Boruto came to, his focus was entirely on Sarada. Even based on the tilt of his head, you can guess that he was fully facing Sarada's back.

He humors Sarada too with her incessant demands, "yeah yeah, I know. I'll save him too, don't worry." Like he knows that Boruto needs to die and honestly if he wanted, he could have let him die and get what he want. But he's probably following Shikamaru's protocols, and needs Boruto for more information. We get a crumb here though with Kawaki acknowledging Sarada's demands again <3 He listens to her, your honour.

4. Kawaki's reaction to when Sarada collapses and Boruto reaches to save her. Kawaki on the ground looking bewildered in chapter 32. Kawaki was stunned when it happened. He asks what happened to Sarada; Boruto tells him she is unconscious and not responding. That's also when Kawaki grimaces and ups his output level way beyond what Amado would have recommended. Honestly, he didn't need to, I agree. Staying calm and composed and taking over Sarada's role instead with Daemon would have been sufficient and he would have done exactly that if he didn't care about what happened to Sarada. He would have reacted the way he shrunk the clawmarks on one of the jounins outside Konoha. He didn't. Kawaki (king of idgaf and indifference) lets his emotions get better of him, ups his output, firing almost blindly and overheats in the process.

5. Kawaki telling Hima he's okay to instead check on Sarada who's bleeding from her eyes (chapter 33). In the first panel the location of everyone is revealed. Kawaki is to the bottom right; ShikaCho to the middle right, Himawari in between of ShikaCho and Kawaki and running towards Kawaki; Sarada is to the bottom left.

Himawari runs when Kawaki collapses but Kawaki tells instead to care about Sarada. Even judging from his head tilt, when Himawari approaches him, he is not looking at her, who would be arriving from his right, he is looking a little to his left at Sarada, where Boruto brought her down.

I personally like how the panels are arranged in the below photo: while Kawaki is actually looking to his right at the hoards of Mamushi heading towards Eida with Konohamaru and Himawari looking in the same direction as him, and focus on Sarada's circumstance. The arrangement of the panels are in such a way that it feels like Kawaki is looking at Sarada's face from afar with Konohamaru and Himawari by her side but far away from him. Kinda poetic with a dash of angst. The way he tries to keep far away from both Hima and Sarada, by pushing Himawari away, and standing behind Sarada in the second example, away from their viewpoint. Not exactly ship moment, but can be seen as a crumb: a look into what Kawaki does to adjust to becoming the Hokage's real son.

All these moments being initiated by Kawaki makes it more special as Ootsutsuki are immune to both Omnipotence and Charm, so Kawaki being caring towards Sarada in his own idgaf tsundere way, is charming in a sense. (I don't believe Sarada is immune but I will explain that theory in another post)

One of the most popular takes with regards to KawaSara is that both of them hate each other post omnipotence and Kawaki killing Sarada in one of the other timelines that we managed to avoid. While many fans believe as a result that there's no salvaging for this relationship, Kawaki's limitless patience and concern towards Sarada in the above examples cannot be ignored and still speaks of potential for this pairing.

It's truly astonishing to see how someone is willing to torture themselves by reading a manga they supposedly consider "trash" every month, just so they can have something to rage about on Tumblr and pretend to be a victim of Ikemoto's writing. Back then, they used to act like they understood canon better than anyone else just to defend SasuSaku, but now they've embraced OOC rewrites and delusional KawaSara theories simply because their double standards regarding shipping have been challenged. They hate the storyline but refuse to walk away; they reject canon but live off headcanons. In the end, they don't genuinely care about Sasuke or Sarada's character development—they're simply addicted to the monthly drama and to feeling like they're the "victims" of a fictional story they are perfectly free to walk away from at any time.

You don’t mind naming all of kawasara interactions in the manga??

From NNG to now? Or just TBV? Well unfortunately on tablet theres a 10 image limit while on PC its 30, so for now while Im on my tablet I can only provide 10, but I’ll add more images later when Im upstairs on my laptop later tonight. To not get lost in my other asks I’ll add the tag TBC which basically means to be continued so you can find it quickly later.

I’ll post the 10 images that I can and bullet point the rest.

The first is a pretty small one but its during their introduction, the initial misunderstanding of Kawaki thinking they were sent by Kara and Sarada pleading with him to listen to them, and then Sarada first learning of him as the ‘vessel’ and Kara’s target. Chapter 24

The next is their first real interaction on less hostile terms of him mistaking them for Kara, its the moment Kawaki discovers his favorite food. Sarada suggests he try the custard flavor Taiyaki but Kawaki chooses chocolate, Sarada asks for a bite of his Taiyaki since she’s never had the chocolate flavor before but Kawaki refuses, Sarada misunderstands him as just a rude jerk cuz of his attitude, Kawaki distrusts her cuz of his past, Sarada witnesses his PTSD and Naruto consoling him that he’s ‘safe now’, Sarada now has a better understanding of him and tells him he can rely on her and come to her whenever he’s troubled, Kawaki is confused and Naruto tells him that their friends now. Chapter 28

Well tbh I’ve compiled alot of them here so this’ll make up for alot I cant post, so now I’ll just post the moments I havent added to the compilation yet [thanks for reminding me I have to do that with this ask lol]

In case of confusion I’ll bullet point what all the moments in the compilation is in the order that they happen after the ‘you can rely on me’ moment, if you arent confused then you can just skip past this.

Sarada is watching Kawaki with the boys opening gemaki cards wondering when he and Boruto got so close, Kawaki gets Minato, Boruto gets Naruto, Kawaki switches his Minato card for Naruto, he then looks at the card in deep thought while Sarada is shown in the panel next to him right as he’s thinking about ‘the Hokage’ Chapter 34

Later while Kawaki is training with Naruto, Sarada is watching him together with Chocho, a bit envious because he’s getting to spend time with Naruto [her idol] but is sympathetic of the circumstances, Chocho then tells her that to Naruto everyone in the village is like family to him, Sarada says ‘I guess’ and continues watching him train. Chapter 35

When Kawaki truly decides to give his all in fixing the vase, we see a montage of him training with Naruto, playing games with team 10, and learning shurikenjutsu from Sarada. This comes after Naruto told him that with friends your whole world will change. Chapter 34

When Isshiki attacks Naruto and Kawaki at his home, Sarada overhears the situation from Ino and secretly runs to Naruto’s house to help, thinking about Naruto and Kawaki, not knowing what she could do to help, but she cant just sit back and do nothing. Chapter 36

Sarada arrives to the house with the flowers her mom bought for her dad, Kawaki notices her and this is actually the first time he actually calls Sarada by name, a big deal because he’d only called her asshole like everyone else until now. Sarada asks Kawaki what happened and where Naruto is, but when his arm falls off [the one that only functions off Naruto’s chakra while he’s conscious] Sarada and Kawaki freak out at what this implies. Chapter 38

Kawaki falls to his knees and Sarada rushes in grabbing his shoulder urging him to tell her what happened to Naruto but he remains silent in shock.

After Shikamaru and the barrier team shows up and pretty much puts Kawaki and team 7 on house arrest, Shikamaru questions him on what happened to Naruto and he tells him that Isshiki took Naruto away after he refused to give him up, Sarada then asks ‘But I thought the enemy was after you Kawaki, why take lord seventh?’ And he explains that its because Naruto interfered. Chapter 39

Shikamaru shows suspicion towards Kawaki which shocks Sarada since he had already proven himself trustworthy, Boruto snaps at Shikamaru for this but Kawaki accepts his suspicion. Sarada just sits silently next to Kawaki who is still mourning Naruto’s disappearance and potential death because of him. Sarada gives him a sympathetic look while he stares at Naruto’s prosthetic arm. Chapter 39

Kawaki starts to hyperventilate and Sarada calls his name in shock, Kawaki then starts asking why Naruto would go so far for him, Sarada then says ‘Yeah, as if your actually family right?’, she then tells him that there was a time where she wished Naruto was her dad, Kawaki looks at her and Sarada continues by saying she was jealous of Boruto and his constant complaining, his ignorance of being so blessed, but to Naruto everyone in the village is family, thats who he is, and that you just feel utterly safe in his presence. Kawaki looks down seemingly comforted by her words. Chapter 39

Sarada and Kawaki [along with Boruto and Mitsuki] goes to rescue Naruto from Boro, he eventually takes Kawaki and Boruto down with his black mist [revealed to be viruses] and Sarada throws a huge boulder at Boro and then jumps down grabbing Kawaki and running away with him while Mitsuki grabbed Boruto. Chapter 40

Mitsuki suggests Sarada be their captain and lead them, Boruto objects, but Kawaki agree’s with Mitsuki that it should be Sarada and that she’ll up their chances of winning. Chapter 41

Sarada officially includes Kawaki as a part of team 7, calling them the ‘revamped cell 7’ Chapter 40

Kawaki asks Boruto and Mitsuki to stall for time while he fills Sarada in on his plan for her to destroy Boro’s core, Sarada is unsure how he expects her to find it but Kawaki tells her to just look real close using that sharingan of hers, and then joins Boruto and Mitsuki in distracting Boro. Chapter 42

Naruto thanks Kawaki for saving him, but Kawaki tells him he didnt do a thing and that he should give his thanks to Mitsuki and Sarada instead. Chapter 44

She and Kawaki get into a heated argument over the type of training they should do, Kawaki wants to do combat training but Sarada wants to go over basic chakra drills, Kawaki explains his rationale but Sarada tells him thats pretty extreme logic, Kawaki doesnt listen and pushes her to fight anyway and she accepts saying she was gonna make him regret it. Kawaki wins with a shadow clone feint and appears behind her ready to strike but Boruto stops him saying that he’s going too far, but Kawaki tells him to relax and that its only a sparring match, no ones gonna die. Sarada still wants to fight and knock some sense into him but Boruto decides on his own that he’ll fight Kawaki to settle things himself. Chapter 58

When Shikamaru calls team 7 into the meeting about Ada, Shikamaru makes a point of Boruto and Kawaki being 'two bomb brats' and Kawaki takes offense since Shikamaru is once again implying something so he tells him to just go ahead and say it, but Sarada tells him to calm down and that Shikamaru was just being realistic about the circumstances, Kawaki backs down and allows Shikamaru to continue explaining the mission. Chapter 73

Kawaki grabs Boruto up when he senses Momoshiki’s presence, Sarada comes out yelling at him to stop and asks what he’s doing, saying their in the middle of a mission and that this is no time for fighting. Kawaki tells her to stay out of it and that Otsutsuki dont care whether your in the middle of a mission or not. Chapter 77

Sarada goes to save Boruto from Kawaki and asks what’s gotten into him, Kawaki says he’s only gonna say this once which is if she doesnt wanna die then dont intervene. Boruto confirms that Kawaki is serious and really will kill her but Sarada jumps down anyway saying thats all the more reason for her to stay. Kawaki walks towards her saying that shinobi really are destined to die early and takes a swipe at her but Boruto saves her. Kawaki goes over to them and gives Sarada a second chance to save herself despite saying he would only say this once. Chapter 78

Now I’ll move onto TBV which wont take long since there isnt much at the moment.

Kawaki and Sarada have a heated back and forth in the Hokage office about Boruto maybe or maybe not partnering with Code, Sarada argues he isnt working with him while Kawaki argues he is, and even if he isnt, he still has to die regardless because he is Otsutsuki. Sarada says that he’s an Otsutsuki also but Kawaki repeats himself that he is an Otsutsuki killing Otsutsuki and that once he wipes them all out he has every intention on dying too. Sarada then repeats herself that she wont let him have his way in Konoha as a ninja who aims to be Hokage. Chapter 4

After Jura shoots both Sarada and Boruto and takes back the thorn soul bulb, Kawaki goes over to Sarada and stays by her side until she’s healed by Himawari, despite Boruto being an easy target for him to take out now. Once Sarada is healed, Sumire asks her to heal Boruto too but Kawaki stops her, Sarada gets angry thinking he’s gonna let Boruto die but Kawaki tells her not to misunderstand and that he will let Hima heal him, they just have something else they need to do first. Chapter 13

After Sarada’s eye explodes and Kawaki overheats, he stops Himawari from helping him and tells her to worry about Sarada instead. Chapter 32-33

Thats pretty much all thats happened between them in TBV so far.

Not sure if I listed them all the way you wanted but hopefully this gives you a decent enough insight on their interactions/moments thus far.
