Maybe Jonathan Harker is condescending towards ethnic minorities and uses racist words, but he is still better prepared with his polyglot dictionary and willingness to politely listen than most western tourists here in Budapest.

You don't even need a polyglot dictionary, you have Google Translate, use it instead of screaming 'You speak English to me!' to high schoolers on summer jobs.

I love both the cottagecore and the dark academia aesthetics, but as a librarian, looking at them causes me physical pain and also snakes manifesting in my living room. 

Because:

- Do not place your coffee / tea / unidentified potion mugs on top of books.

- Same goes for candles. Do not set the library on fire, please. 

- Why are so many books stacked up on your basement floor?

- Where there is no air, but it certainly looks dark and wet.

- Do you want moldy books? Because this is how you get moldy books.

Every time you add a book to your moldy stack with a candle on top, a librarian eats a kitten. Please think of the kittens. Take care of your books.

Today one of my favourite bloggers on Tumblr was harrassed because she didn't wanted to share her age, and according to Anon who harrassed her, this makes her dangerous if she interacts with minors.

Not counting all the sjw bullshit this site is always talking about, but...

She has an aesthetic blog. She posts nothing but FOOD PHOTOS and CUTE CATS. No fandom, no shipping, not a single line of the dreaded "discourse". Nothing but cakes and kitties. And someone feels threatend by that.

Kids. Babies. Dear little minors. If you are afraid that someone wants to groom you into any kind of horrible adult stuff with cute cat videos, I suggest you to get off of the internet. You know, there are millions of cat videos here, all uploaded by adults.

Or simply just start to grow up.

I accidentally (I swear it was accidental) run into the Chernobyl fandom, and since then I’m sitting in a dark corner, crying and repeating “Everyone can write what they want! Everyone can ship who they want! And I have no right to tell them off!” over and over again.

Sorry, I just can't keep this to myself. During the past three days several friends of mine shared this picture on various social media sites, and I can't... I just can't.

There are billions of photos depicting cute / sad / scared animals on the internet, but no, you had to feed all of those to some AI generator, to get this monstrosity I can only describe as a drunken tzimisce nightmare. What the everlasting fuck is that creature on the left, behind the deer, and why that deer hasn't got an ass and hind legs? The three winged bird above is really just the icing on the cake.

Everybody is talking about how it's getting harder to tell AI generated images from real ones, and then this appears, and nobody bats an eye. I don't know why I'm even trying. I should just generate some three legged zombie eyed animals on Facebook, and make a living out of it.
