i'm getting a new, better, bigger viola on monday!! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧ it's a really pretty red color and it has a great full tone! i'm going to keep my old one and use it as a school viola, probably~

also my parents are thinking of finding me an electric viola! (and by that i mean mom is looking at them and my dad is being a stubborn idiot and thinking he knows more about instruments than my brother and i who have been musicians since childhood) there's this one really pretty one on ebay that's not too expensive and i know it's probably not great quality but it's ~$130 and for a first time one i wouldn't want a great quality one because i dunno if i'd like it or not. i might get it or a similar one for christmas if i'm lucky!
