Yo I saw your Eto cosplay and I think you look AMAZING! I'd love to do Eto myself, but I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to cosplaying. Do you have any good tips?

sorry it took me so long to get back to you! i saw this saturday night, typed “bandage hell” and passed out (/_-) but thank you so much! i’ve only been cosplaying for a couple years myself, and the dress part was relatively easy minus the hood. it’s the bandages that are hella yucky. but here’s (x) a explanation of how i did the dress and hood. i’ve remade the hood since then, but that was just extending the length and rounding out the front so it wasn’t so assassin’s creed-y. 

Other tips and thingums: it it an increeeediblyyyy hot cosplay. so that’s defs a heads up. i personally use strips of bedsheets for bandages around my arms and legs with athletic tape to hold everything together/up with athletic tape over a ski mask. my friend catie basically hot glued bandage strips onto a morph suit which gave her the freedom to add velcro to the hands and face. i’ve seen other ones on tumblr that use other methods, like bandage-patterned morph suits. you do what works best for you and makes you as comfortable as possible. 

as far as the mask goes, mine has pretty low visibility. it’s pantyhose stretched tightly over the eye holes, and i cannot see anything below my eye level and there. beware of steps. and i mean if you don’t feel comfortable doing the full mask, i’ve seen other etos with masks they just hold up to their face or maybe just skip the mask and throw on a takatsuki wig and you’ll look fantastic!

generally the thing i’ve found with my version of eto is that the shittier it looks, the more it looks realistic.
