Because the weird thing is, Kaede isn’t affected by this particular deja vu, and yet, she was able to recall a small fragment of her suppressed memory just fine. That she is lacking the same strong feelings about the gym is curious, considering you two both ran there together, not that long ago.
Could it be, this intuition of yours is entirely separate from the early Prologue?
Since the meddling in-between scenes caused a removal of that memory...
