Comparing Texas lawmakers with the Taliban seems a little extreme.

One is authoritarian theocracy armed by US weapons manufacturers that violently persecutes women and children in the name of religion and the other is the Taliban.

The Oregon takeover, If they weren't racist and driven by martyrdom, this would be an entirely different story... If they were occupying land to return to the Natives, the federal government would have bombed them like MOVE and burned down the whole damn park. Apparently, the government doesn't see armed white men as a threat. The foundations of society barely ripple, whereas black & brown bodies without really trying spread revolution just by being alive. Who really holds the power?
