What do u think of the Virago label?

NGL I had to look this up because I had NEVER heard of this before!!

After a bit of research it seems to be a way to undermine women that advocate for themselves, so while it seems to be used in demeaning ways I appreciate that women are reclaiming it and owning it!

I also think its interesting that something with roots of meaning "female warrior" got reduced to pejorative despite it's initially powerful contexts

TL;DR learned something new and appreciate the complex spectrum of history behind it😊

one of my coworkers said I give the impression of a renaissance woman bc the dance classes I had been taking came up,

its so weird being recognized for something outside of drawing

its so hard trying to articulate how much I love both, but it makes me happy that the passion bleeds through all the same ^_^
