Went to the Edmonton fringe saw 10 plays and also was so happy they had these free pronoun buttons. It made my world. (They had they/them, she/her, he/him and a "ask me for my pronouns" button)

This is a song about being happy in a relationship that has endured for a long time, regardless of other relationships that have happened in the meantime. It was written in the context of a polyamorous relationship, where the other lovers and dates mentioned are a positive thing, but some people have found this song meaningful in other contexts.

The One I Loved When I Was Young was part of the musical My Boyfriend's Girlfriend, which was performed at the Edmonton Fringe Festival 2016.

I'm somehow missing some footage of me singing, whoops! So you might notice there's less of my face and more piano than usual. Hopefully you're not too broken up about it. ;) Good learning experience lol!
