A message to my Hebrew Israelite sisters:
DO NOT by any means for a second think you have to stay with a husband who is verbally or physically abusing you or your children. By stay I mean living under the same household as them, letting the abuse continue.. Once you are married you are BOUND: 1 Corinthian 7:39, “The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.”, but if your life or mental health is being jeopardized by a wicked husband you can separate from him: 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, “And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.” “let her remain unmarried” meaning, you are to stay faithful to your husband regardless of the unfortunate circumstances, because if you go running into the arms or sheets of another man you are committing a adultery: Romans 7:2-3, “For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.”, and that is a transgression of the Law: Exodus 20:14, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
1 Peters 3:9-12 says, “Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.” No where in the scriptures will you find that it’s okay for a husband to physically or mentally abuse their wives. So the most high is going to judge him accordingly if he does not repent from his behavior. The most high will not forsake the righteous: Psalms 55:22, “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” and he will judge the wicked however he sees fit: Psalms 145:20, “The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. Because the most high hates the soul that loves using violence against their own people: Psalm 11:5, The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
Ephesian 5:24-33 says, “Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. We are suppose to submit ourselves to our husbands, and respect them as the head of the household, and he is to love, provide, cherish, guide and protect you to keep you out of harms way. So any woman not reverencing her husband is out of order and any man harming his wife is out of order.
