“Come on, pick up…” she muttered, tapping her foot against the floor and glancing around the station. Finally, a familiar voice came over the speaker. “Korain! Where are you—uh, hi… so where are you? I’m in a bit of a pickle… I guess I just… need you to come pick me up at the station. Police station. There was a total misunderstanding—” no, it wasn’t… “so, I just need a tiny bit of bail money…”
