Anyone should be allowed to enjoy anything at any age! I mean I love kpop and people might say only teens can enjoy that kind of music but I'm autistic so it's not like I can just switch my special interests off as soon as I hit a certain age lol. But autistic or not, people should be allowed to like what they like without being shamed. If it's not hurting anyone, then I don't understand why anyone would have a problem with what someone else is interested in 💖
oh absolutely! there's a great c.s. lewis quote i like which goes “When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.” and i think that sums it up pretty well. growing up is not 'growing out' of things you enjoy, it's realising there is no shame in loving these things
