Things like sports and other manners of athletic endeavors had never quite been Hyunsoo's forte. Perhaps it is due to his lack of competitive nature. It dissipated not long after hanging up the glove and bat when his pursuit of youth baseball came to an end years ago. His view of company-involved activities like the actor filled dodgeball game is not dissimilar. He participates as much as he's able to, energy only spurred on by the enthusiasm of his teammates. He takes notice of Yejun, in particular, his determined expression especially amusing to him.

Hyunsoo sticks by him for a round, carefully observing his playing style and finding himself grinning ever so slightly when his throw cross the line at an impressive speed. He is ruthless in his pursuit of victory, to say the least, and Hyunsoo would be remiss if he allowed their team to lose due to his own absence of ambition.

Perhaps it is silly of him to think of a moment from back then. Yejun's eyes are far different from the ones that soften like melted butter when he fixes them on a cat, of all things. The thought distracts him enough — barely able to notice the dodgeball careening toward the two of them.

"Yejun, watch out!" Hyunsoo stretches his arm out in an attempt to block the other from being hit. Unfortunately for him, his plan has an obvious fluke. He fails to catch it, and the sound of another ball hitting his friend in the shoulder resounds much louder than the pounding in his ears. A whistle blows and their names are called along with a stern "out!"

Hyunsoo grits his teeth as he peers up at Yejun with an apologetic gaze. "Sorry... I guess we have to do the punishment now."

They're sitting side by side, a couple of snacks resting between them, with Yoojoon’s hand occasionally reaching for a mouthful of honey butter chips. It's a comfortable scene, a welcome break after all the evaluations, all the training, all of the proving himself worthy of standing on stage and becoming an idol.

The sun shines warmly on his face, causing his skin to glow and his eyes to squint a little at the brightness when he looks over at Yejun. Thankfully, the park is deserted, allowing them to enjoy some peaceful time together.

"I missed summer. There's something about the sun and the warmth that’s just so refreshing. Not the sweating part, but you get my drift." he says with a laugh, momentarily running his hand over his face before taking a sip from the uncapped water bottle beside him.

"It's nice to see you blossoming as an actor, though. I'm definitely rooting for you even if I miss training with you."

"i never thought of myself as much of a scream queen," gyuri starts, an amused grin playing at her lips as she gives her neck a gentle stretch. week three filming is well underway, long hours piling onto each other as content is created and activities are ticked off, and gyuri finds herself grateful for this brief reprieve in filming once their group has put on their show. it hadn't been anything particularly difficult, their group of three ( rather than two, in some cases ) seemed to only be an advantage, allowing for more spontaneous reactions and shoddy plot development as they played off of each other.

"do you think that was taking things a bit too far? i won't lie, my throat still feels a bit fuzzy, i didn't think i'd ever be able to hit that high of a frequency." the scream had come to her rather randomly, timed at the very climax of their scenario, and while gyuri felt proud of her newfound capabilities, she simply wanted to hear another persons opinion. so, who better than one of her partners? "at the very least, it gave everyone a show."
