yejunxgh:
“don’t be such an ass,”
perhaps it is the large, oversized beanie on his head that sports the words “eat me” in big, white letters, or maybe the that the shirt he’s wearing is covered in rips and holes in random places. yejun has been told far worse by people far more intimidating, her words bounce off of him like rubber and he simply sticks out his tongue in her direction, a small silver ball resting in the middle.
“you know what i hear? i hear, the best part about somebody else’s outfit and fashion choices are that fact that you don’t have to wear them.” he says, his voice is rich with sarcasm and he leans over the counter for the bar, “crazy, right? who would have thought, hm?”
( continued from here ! )
a lighthearted chuckle escapes sooyoung’s lips when the boy calls her an ass, undoubtedly showing that she’d taken no offense. she nods in agreement as a smirk takes up residence across her features, showing her standpoint. it was obvious that she’d deserved it— she had just insulted the guy’s fashion choices, after all. still, despite whether or not the other had taken offense, joy would be lying to say she wasn’t enjoying their current conversation.
defensively holding her hands up, another laugh manages to come to surface. “hey, no, you’ve got me all wrong,” she begins, slowly lowering her hands to their resting position. “i meant ‘idiot’ in the nicest way, trust me! isn’t that what the kids do these days? insult the things they actually like?” probably not, but a bit of humor had never hurt anyone. “anyways, i actually just wanted to know where you bought the hat from. i’ve been looking for one just like it, but... what do you know, i’ve never been able to find one. like, ever. well, until now, at least. it’s kind of sad, now that i think about it.”
