Carol needed to go out, she needed to let loose a little and have fun. Okay, more like drink the night away while she wallowed in the pain of missing him. Some nights it was just too much for the woman to bear. Tonight was one of those nights and the Frank Sinatra they were playing wasn’t helping her mood any. It seemed the bar only knew the sad songs to play. Carol sighed as she looked down at her drink then around the bar, blue eyes landing on a beautiful blonde at the other end of the bar and she mentally said fuck it as she picked up her drink and walked over to her, albeit a little tipsy. The woman smiled at the other as she sat down on the bar stool beside her. “You look just as lonely as I feel.” She started as she inched closer, eyes hazed over. “How about I make it a little less lonely for the both of us.” She all but purred as she reached out to kiss the woman passionately, not giving a damn that she had just sat beside her. She needed an escape and damn it, she had found one. She just didn’t know why the woman seemed eerily familiar to her.
