Misty clapped her hands and the lights flicked on. She was about to grab the arm of her date, bring him in to meet Caligula, when she stopped short at a sight she hadn’t seen in twenty-five goddamn years.

Nat.

With a gun.

“Hello Misty, you crazy fucking bitch,” Natalie said, her eyes dark and heated. She looked so different than she had all those years ago when they were stranded in the wilderness. Her hair was completely dark now, a little bit shorter. Yet there was the same fire in her eyes, the same fire she’d always had.

“Hey, Nat,” Misty breathed, captivated by the woman before her. She didn’t even notice her date taking his leave, she only had eyes for Nat. “It’s been a while.”

“Yeah,” Natalie said, gripping the gun loosely in her lap. She was all poised confidence and it made Misty breathless. “You haven’t changed.”

It had been 9 years since Natalie Scatoriccio graduated high school. 9 years since she was supposed to go to nationals and 9 years since she spoke to anyone on the team, and she wasn’t planning on changing that anytime soon. But fate had other plans.

When Natalie gets into an accident on the way home from work, she’s forced to reunite with her past as she finds out that the nurse treating her is none other than Misty Quigley.

ITS FINISHED GUYS! It only took me 3 months but I did it!! Now I just need to reread it tomorrow and finalize everything and then it can go up!

Unhappy to report that I am still working on chap 2 of the mistynat hospital fic (ikik I’m sorry), BUT I wanted to take this opportunity to see if you guys had any requests for conversations Misty and Nat can have or any fun little filler moments I can throw in there, since the two of them have a lot of free time in the first couple chapters. I’m open to any suggestions so be creative!
