Excuse me but I seem to have forgotten. Why again was "she" the icon of People Power? Wasn't she hiding in some convent somewhere in the Visayan region while 2 percent-ish of the Filipino population were out on the streets of EDSA? And what was the point of seducing the soldiers with flowers? The battle-hardened marines who remained loyal to Marcos that time could have easily bombed the place and get things over with. But the PRESIDENT's order was "NOT to attack.." A crucial, but deliberately silenced, fact. MEDIA. I'm not saying that you stop demonizing "his" image. Just stop giving praise where it is not due.
