Grandma Approved 🍕 Awesome Pizza exists all over NYC. This excellent Grandma slice is from @louiespizza in Elmhurst. The length of proofing time and crispiness of the pizza bottom distinguish the Grandma from the Sicilian (rectangular) slices. The Grandma’s shorter proof time yields a denser and thinner crust but a more tender crumb. There is also an emphasis on achieving a crisper bottom with a Grandma. Tip: if you are hungry, get the steak. Yes, that is not a typo. The steak is amazing so it is getting its own post. Trust me. Tortilla Española Con Espinaca 🇪🇸 This is my triangular pincho de tortilla portion from @fireflynewyork, which I grabbed for breakfast. While she does serve the traditional potato and egg version, the spinach called out to me. This is the first time I have seen one with spinach so I am unsure if this is typical or a riff on s classic. It definitely filled a hole.
