Alright perhaps he had earned his one himself but that doesn’t stop Wonwoo from cracking up rather loudly with laughter, finding her retort to be rather endearing if anything. Knowing all too well that Chaeyeon’s patience was endless, he had taken his teasing to yet another level when performing his own rendition of one of her performances on Produce 101, albeit in an exaggerated manner. ❝ What is it, Chaeyeon-ah? Do you not think that I am worthy of singing to Yum Yum? I even know the lyrics to most of the chorus which goes like uh… ❞ He lifts a finger in the air, as if deep in thought while contemplating on the words that are to escape his lips.❝ Yum Yum…about ten times and gimme gimme that. ❞ His words trail away as he ends up laughing once again. Blame it on his random good mood to subject the younger girl to his playfulness.❝ Alright, but in all seriousness, don’t you think I would make a rather good addition to such a girl group concept? I’ve already done one too many covers along with the boys, after all. ❞

〔  제이。〕“hm. it’s because i was thinking of what hentai manga to purchase next. my collection is growing and i can’t stop now. say — should i go for something a little more hardcore this time?” the rigid articulation of his words perfectly masks the fact that he’s just mocking her. it takes minimal effort to hold himself back from sketching any smile, his face devoid of any apparent hints that he’s being a prankster only at the moment. while silence is filling the air, his curiosity accelerates with each second flying by — will she mock him in return? will she fall for it and land a scolding nudge against his arm? it’s hard to predict one’s behaviour at five in the morning. he’s sitting cross-legged on the cold, concrete floor of her balcony, the guitar flopped behind him and his phone tossed somewhere on the small coffee table placed between him and the younger girl. the continuous work hours have made him restless — he’s either tapping the glass of his wristwatch with his index finger, drumming his right shoe against the cement, or gently pinching and pulling at his own earrings, his dry, growing hair brushing against his fingers. he looks tired, yet still luminous somehow, especially since he’s finally giving in with a coy smile.

“alright, i wasn’t paying attention. i wasn’t thinking of anything in particular. don’t get mad! you’re the one who called me here at this hour…”, he’s snooping a glance behind his shoulder at the darkness still engulfing her apartment: her group mates are sleeping. and of course, risky as it already is, they’re unaware of his presence. “you’d better repeat the question so i can answer and leave before they wake up and see me here.”

sleeping in. no doubt about it. she’s usually in a better mood when she has the opportunity to sleep in too!

it’d probably have to be sometime during her time on produce 101. competing against 100 other girls was tough, and she wanted to make sure she had everything perfect.. or well, perfect in her eyes at least.

doyeon may or may not have a slight obsession with fruit.. like… to the point where that’s all she’d want to eat for a while
