I just binge read 60 chapters of 'Falling' last night. I only ended up sleeping after 3 AM but it's so worth it. The angst is just too good 😭

First of all, I LOVE YEONGWON TT

She's such a cutie patootie ray of sunshine. She deserves all the love the world has to offer.

For the sake of character development, she have had more trauma than I can even imagine. Poor girl ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ

I've never cried that much over a manhwa before but this one broke the record. The art is really pretty as well.

Just wanted to share because this was such a roller coaster ride of emotions, and I need to cherish this sweet summer ray of a girl.

The series has ended it's 2nd season, and the 3rd will start in May. Can't wait to read more of them. And MC better redeem herself well..

Fun facts about Yeongwon and Yoongi!

Yoongi's favorite animals are frogs whereas Yeongwon's are actually newts/salamanders/etc. You can see this in their designs as well.

Yeongwon was actually based off the phrase "eye of newt", hence the patterns on his jacket. Also peep the long ponytail.

Alternate names for them are Anura (Yoongi) and Eternity (Yeongwon). Yoongi actually came from the term "Young Frog" (Young-i). This is a joke from MapleStory2, which is the fandom they both originated from.

While Yoongi is legally blind, originally I planned for Yeongwon to be deaf/mute as well. I decided against it down the line.

Yeongwon is a vegetarian and can't stomach the sight of blood.

Yeongwon and Yoongi met for the first time when she came across him graffiting a wall. He was terrified at first, but she thought he was super cool!!

She introduced herself as Yoongi and asked you if you could help her find a good friend of hers, but her description of him wasn't very helpful. (Task) Go to Kerning City and ask around about Yeongwon. (0/3) (Complete) You went to Kerning City to look for Yeongwon. Try as you might, you couldn't find anyone who matched Yoongi's extremely vague descriptions. In fact, nobody even seems to know who he is… (Reward) 5,000 EXP or whatever amount of EXP is regular for that area's quests

Who is Your Friend? (Incomplete) You're starting to wonder if Yeongwon really even exists. Go back to Yoongi in Torhara Spring and see if you can get any more specifics about him. (Task) Talk to Yoongi. (0/1) (Complete) You asked Yoongi a few more questions about Yeongwon's appearance. As it turns out, she can't really make out fine details. That explains the vague descriptions, huh? (Reward) 5,000 EXP

Tagging Yeongwon (Incomplete) You asked Yoongi if she could give any more details about him, other than appearance. She said he likes to spray paint, so maybe you should talk to some graffiti artists. (Task) Talk to Meminem. (0/1) Talk to 50 Meso. (0/1) (Complete) You finally got a lead… sort of. Yeongwon, Where Art Thou? (Incomplete) You're almost certain that the mystery artist is Yeongwon. 50 Meso seems to agree. He told you to head to Woodward because it's the only place that hasn't been tagged by him yet. (Task) Head to Woodward and find Yeongwon. [CUTSCENE]The player enters Woodward. The camera follows the player as they slowly walk away from the portal. Suddenly, a silhouetted figure pops out from behind the food stand and runs off. He slips away into a building. (Complete) You went to Woodward and saw a suspicious figure darting past and into an abandoned building. You're almost certain it's Yeongwon. (Reward) 5,000 EXP

Yeongwon on the Run (Incomplete) While you couldn't get a good look at him, you were almost certain it was Yeongwon. Chase after him before he gets away! (Task) Chase after Yeongwon. (Complete) Just as you swing the door open, you see a completely empty room as if Yeongwon had never entered. Just how sneaky is he?! (Reward) 5,000 EXP

The Art of Disappearing (Incomplete) There's no way Yeongwon could have slipped away without you seeing him. He must have a secret exit somewhere. (Task) Find the secret exit. (0/1) [CUTSCENE] The player enters a small map enclosed by brick wall. For an abandoned part of the city, it's very clean. On the wall in front of the player is a very large, abstract graffiti drawing of what seems to be frogs on a pond with flowers in full bloom. Standing in front of the wall is Yeongwon, who is no longer silhouetted and is instead crouching down and spraying the wall.

Player (pop-up dialogue): There you are! Yeongwon (pop-up dialogue): Aah!!

Yeongwon hops to his feet and turns around. (Complete) Looks like your hunch was right. You caught Yeongwon right in the act with his spraypainting. You should tell him that Yoongi's looking for him. (Reward) 5,000 EXP

The Won, the Only (Incomplete) Now that you've found him, it'd probably be a good time to tell Yeongwon that Yoongi's looking for him. (Task) Talk to Yeongwon. (0/1) (Complete) You talked to Yeongwon, who seemed a little scared of seeing you in his otherwise secret place. When you told him Yoongi was looking for him, he seemed to be apologetic and told you to tell her that he'll come and talk to her soon. (Reward) 5,000 EXP

A Good Friend Indeed (Incomplete) You start to leave, but it seems like Yeongwon has one more thing to say. (Task) Talk to Yoongi in Torhara Spring. (0/1) (Complete) After Yeongwon made you promise not to tell Yoongi about the painting he made for her as a surprise for her birthday, you left the abandoned alleyway and went back to Yoongi to tell her what needs to be said.
