Red and Blue Part 1
If I had to start our story somewhere, it would be right in the middle with the city lights bleeding red and blue through the tall glass windows.
The apartment was mostly dark except for the little night lights glowing softly in the kitchen and hallway. Tiny warm lights scattered through the penthouse like stars.
You leaned back against the marble table in the living room, fingers curled loosely around the stem of your wine glass while you stared out at the skyline.
Rain still clung to the windows.
Seoul looked unreal at night.
So did he.
“I didn’t think you’d come tonight,” Yeonjun said from behind you.
You rolled your eyes and took another sip of wine.
“You’re in a mood tonight,” he murmured.
“I'm always in a mood”
“Not always.”
Black shirt pushed up to his elbows. Hair messy from the rain outside. Rings flashing silver under dim kitchen light. Lean muscle shifting every time he moved, veins visible beneath warm skin, the kind of body that made your brain briefly stop functioning whenever he got too close. Which he was doing now. Very slowly.
“You wore this for me?” he asked softly, eyes dragging over your dress.
You scoffed lightly. “No, I wore it for me”
He stepped fully into your space, his hands bracing on either side of you against the marble table.
Your breath hitched slightly as his arms caged you in, muscles tightening beneath rolled sleeves while the city lights flickered across his face.
Red.
Blue.
Gold.
His gaze dropped briefly to your mouth before lifting again.
“You know,” he murmured, “you get meaner when you want attention.”
“And you get prettier when you’re trying to get laid.”
That made him laugh quietly.
“Do I?.”
The eye contact between you turned sharp instantly.
Heavy enough to feel.
You hated how much you liked this part , the tension dragged out until it became unbearable, the constant challenge of who would crack first.
Usually you.
Yeonjun leaned closer, close enough that you felt his breath against your skin.
“You really gonna pretend you weren’t thinking about this all week?”
Your stomach tightened.
His mouth brushed faintly against the corner of your jaw.
You set the wine glass down before you dropped it entirely.
His smile deepened slightly at the movement.
Your fingers slid into his hair instinctively, tugging just enough to make his head tilt slightly back before his gaze darkened immediately.
Yeonjun stepped fully between your legs then, forcing your dress higher against your thighs as his hands slid there automatically, warm palms dragging slowly upward beneath silk.
Your breathing stuttered.
“You’re trouble,” you whispered.
“Yeah,” he said softly against your neck before kissing it. “But you love it anyway.”
You hate that mouth.
Yeonjun lifted his head slightly, eyes locked on yours now.
“So,” he murmured, fingers tightening lightly against your thighs, “you done pretending you’re leaving?”
