「 like a lost child ; yeoyoon + naeun 」
naeun let out a frustrated sigh. the street rarely had anyone on it, and even if she spotted some, they were all in a group that made her too shy to approach. why was her sister not answering her phone. she had given her instructions on how to get out, but now that she was outside, the directions just didn't seem to make sense to her at all. why did she live in such a weird place of town. why did all the streets look the same. 'turn right when you see the first streetlamp, walk straight until you see a convenience store, and then turn left and you should see the bus stop. then keep walking until you get to bus stop, turn left again, and you should see your bus stop.' naeun had no problem remembering the instructions that her sister gave her, but she probably had taken a wrong turn somewhere and it just messed up the whole thing. where was her sister when she needed her?
it was literally only about five minutes ago that naeun had last seen her sister. it was the first day since naeun's sister, eunhae, moved out that they both had free time to meet up with each other. because naeun had never been to eunhae's apartment yet, naeun decided to come visit her. finding the apartment had been easy since naeun was on the phone with eunhae and she had guided naeun the whole way. getting out and back home now, however was the problem. she remembered her sisters exact words of "get home safely, and if you need help just call me!". but now that naeun had called her -- multiple times, actually -- there was no reply. she was wandering around the neighborhood like a lost child.
in the end naeun just decided to stop trying. it was cold out and she was probably getting herself more lost by trying to find her way out. she settled in a cafe, bought herself a carmel latte, and just decided to wait until her sister called her back.
