balsaminaceae replied to your post: I could literally write a book on this show and it's characters tho. Every show tries for that organic development and heartachingly real feel for the characters, maddeningly few succeed. Longmire is one of the of the few that does. But that's not the end, a huge reason why I sing the show's praises is because it does all this SINCERELY. I'm convinced everyone who works on this show really loves it and that's because I can feel it. I can feel the love that goes into this show.
…and Walt is such an extraordinary (imo) character in this whole “crime show”-universe (and I watch a lot of crime shows rly). He’s always focused on the people, not just the case / some high tech methods. He’s kind and empathic and fair.
