On the Literal Tokens
Many of you may be wondering about these tokens, referred to throughout the various posts and communications. They are, in fact, delightful little coins (made of a red brass alloy, to be more precise) custom-minted for our little group, and bearing my monogram as their "head" and a delightful garter clip illustration (drawn by Dr. Sour) on their "tail."
One earns them through the membership's monthly dues, through contributing one's personal efforts at a Quarterly Social, by barter with other guests laden down by their weight, or by having them added by the Token Agent to one's tab at one of our events.
They are used to gain entrance to the events themselves, to procure delectable beverages, but can also be redeemed for objects such as stockings, handkerchiefs, and collar stays -- Or used to take home my artwork at costs far below the prices available to the public.
