Why?
Why do we pay so much attention to compatibility? Why do we insist on dating exact replicas of ourselves?
Why do we project on others an image of who we want them to be and then end up being disappointed upon finding out that they're not that person.
Why are we in such a hurry to fall in love? And why are we willing to do just about anything to get it, even if that means hurting people we care about?
Why do we make it so complicated?
Why is everything centered on this idea of love and happiness and how you need the first to achieve the latter?
Why is it that all of this is true and I can't seem to be happy without someone in my life?
Why can't it be simple? Why can't we just hang out with the people we love, or miss without it being weird, without it meaning anything, without over-thinking anything, without any strings attached?
Why can't we all just enjoy each other's company without making it all so difficult?
