In 2019, include fat people and disabled people in your activism. It’s a joke that folks are out here screaming that fat & disabled people are everywhere and everywhere we are treated as disposable. Level up yr politics this year by reading and reblogging work by fat and disabled folks, buying their books and merch and services, and maybe even speaking to us in public like we’re people instead of slinging “have you tried”s our way. Believe me, we know we are fat, but not all of us hate fatness and fat people. If we’re sick, we have tried it and it probably didn’t work. Compliment my nails, offer your seat on the train, think we’re hot, talk abt yr houseplants, celebrate holidays with us, invite us to stuff. Look around at yr beloveds and ask yrself why you don’t have fat and disabled friends and *fix it*.
