                      it’s another uneventful day at the flower shop but it’s nothing daisy isn’t used to. while spritzing some of the flowers to keep them looking fresh, she hears the door open, bells chiming. “hello, welcome-- oh! it’s you!”

chio’s eyes widened as he felt the girl visibly getting weaker. without a second thought, he managed to pull a chair and help her sit down on it, hands steadying her. seeing the red patch of blood on her shirt, his hand reached to slowly lift the material, exposing the deep cut. “this-this looks…bad,” he said, trying not to think too much into it. if he’s going to be a doctor, he’ll have to learn to deal with this sort of thing anyway. “i’m a med student, i can try to patch this up,” he offered, standing up once again to run inside the supply closet, getting the first aid kit he always kept at the coffee shop. running back to her side, he got on his knees as he inspected the wound. “who attacked you? did you see them? should i call the police?”

     ‘ excuse me? ’ the quick move she made to look into the person in the way was indeed deadly, geurim wasn’t in the mood for a fight tonight or even a kind of encounter like that. ‘ i know the club is really full tonight, but i’d appreciate if you just didn’t stay in the way. ’ the half demon girl had a night of terrible experiences already and didn’t wanna waste the rest of it by arguing with a random person. // for @yestodcys .

      ❛  come down and eat, seb! i made tree bark soup!  ❜     bastien calls, chuckling. he did it this time. he really made it. pull bark off the maple tree out back and boiled it for broth. straining the bark bits was harder than he thought, but he eventually got this nice, maple-y broth that he flavored with other herbs from the garden. all in all, it was a subtly sweet and thin soup, so bastien put in some vegetables on the side.
