"help me choose something to wear?"
Her only response was a blink. "You're coming to me for fashion advice?" Kat could barely come up with her own wardrobe. She practically existed in either her BDUs or her sweater. Even she felt out of place in this... dress. Did they really need to dress up to go to the casino? They were just going for drinks, weren't they? What was it Miranda had said the other day? That they were nothing but troubleshooting space divas?
Peering over to the choices Val had picked out, Kat frowned. "How do you have so many outfits?" Maybe she was just more conservative; her choice of dress was a dark purple knee-length dress with long, flowing bell sleeves; they almost reminded her of bat wings, in a way. The dark eggplant purple was her favourite, too.
"I kind of like the style of the red one," she admitted, pointing to it. "I mean--I wouldn't wear it, but the collar is kind of nice." It was sleeveless, which wasn't something Kat was drawn to; she preferred... a little more coverage than that. Fully exposed arms made her fidgety as of late. "But I really like the colour of the blue one."
