I found a pattern for a plush yeti lobster and absolutely had to make it. It's so good. I love it. I used minky for mine and added antennae (pipe cleaners with a sleeve of minky.)

Yeti Crab toys/ornaments! 

These furry denizens of the deep sea will love to hang out with you with their super soft arms

The Yeti crab, or Kiwa hirsute, is a crustacean discovered in 2005 in the South Pacific Ocean. This decapod, which is approximately 15 cm (5.9 in) long, is notable for the quantity of silky blond setae (resembling fur) covering itspereiopods (thoracic legs, including claws). Its discoverers dubbed it the "yeti lobster" or "yeti crab". […] The animal has strongly reduced eyes that lack pigment, and is thought to be blind. The "hairy" pincers contain filamentous bacteria, which the creature may use to detoxify poisonous minerals from the water emitted by the hydrothermal vents where it lives.

The Yeti lobster (Kiwa hirsuta) lives in colonies near hydrothermal vents more than 2000 meters below the surface of the Pacific ocean. These lobsters are covered in setae that resemble thick fur. The "fur" is colonized by bacteria, which feed off the nutrient-rich seeps from the hydrothermal vents. The lobsters carefully tend their bacteria-laden "fur," and periodically comb it out to eat the bacteria; this is their primary food source. Photo credit: CHESSO consortium
