Rant:

Okay so I volunteered to transcribe the Sarah en Maas podcasts (links to listen here: @sjmpodcast) which I have zero regrets about despite underestimating the amount of work because I lobe doing it. But anyways I was like "I'm gonna either finish transcribing the first podcast or do a good chunk of it tonight, but first I gotta finish this essay for history" so I start working on that essay and literally 2 and a half hours later (aka now) I'm finally but not even really completely done and I'm so tired and done and I'm just gonna go to sleep so yeah fuck you history essay, i don't even care about your topic

So I just counted the amount of books/series with LGBT characters in them that I own. 4. 4 out of 46 series or standalones. 4. That’s 8 percent. Not even 1/11.

Good things about life today:

- I got told I'm super pretty - I got told my name is pretty - I got told my dress is pretty - I got 2 free books - I got 2 books signed - I'm about to go to a masterclass translating - I got a bunch of bookish goodies and swag

reasons why transcribing this podcast is taking so long

I keep procrastination on tumblr (yes it is incredibly fun to read about wingspans, yes I have way better things to do)

my girlfriend is cute so I have on choice but to give her attention
