it was at a duel tournament when you guys first met!* Ruka was there to cheer on her brother, and you were there to photograph the duelists in action.
after the tournament, you went up to the twins to show him the photos you took of him, and that was when you were able to first meet Ruka.
“Wooahh!! Ruka, come look at these cool shots of me!!”
the twins kept aweing over your photos!
you parted ways shortly after, but met once again at the next tournament.
“Ah, you’re the photographer who took those photos of my brother at the last tournament!”
you properly introduced yourselves and got to talking!
afterwards you went to show the twins the photos, and they absolutely loved them once again!!
it started becoming a common routine to go to these tournaments and talk to Ruka while taking photos, so much to the point you guys started to seek each other out at every tournament!
of course though, she wasn’t at all the tournaments due to her frail-ness, but you understood and would always await the next one she came to.
meeting Rua at the end of the events she missed like “Here are some prints for Ruka since she missed the tournament!”
making sure you always photograph the best parts for her when she misses the tournaments 🥺🥺
slowly of course, you guys start having feelings for each other, from talking and getting to know each other at these tournaments!
it eventually got to the point where you guys exchanged numbers and started meeting outside of tournaments in your own time!
you’d most likely have to make the first move though since she’s shy 👉🏻👈🏻
after you guys establish your relationship, aside from regular dates, you know there’s gonna be photography dates!
taking cute photos somewhere nice, and if she doesn’t feel well enough to go out, having a makeshift photograph session at home, etc etc!
she LOVES your photos! she’s always so excited to see your next set!!
she always makes sure you’re not over working yourself and are taking breaks.
if you ever ask to just photograph her by herself, she’d get so flustered 🥺
always keeps her favorite photo of you two together on her person.
if she ever finds a spot she thinks you’d like, she lets you know!
“Y/N, I saw the prettiest fountain today and thought of you, maybe it’d be a good photo spot!”
needless to say, you guys have the best holiday cards every year 😤👏🏻
