if there’s one thing in the world that makes everything okay, it’s knowing that taejun has @yhyunho no matter what happens. despite the fact that the two were headed towards two completely different paths, it never stopped their friendship or the support they had for each other. and with taejun following to seoul not long after yunho, there was always time to see each other around school, training and yunho’s schedules after debut. it was one of the best feelings to have, knowing his best bud was going straight for his dreams and that he’d be able to achieve them no matter what.

it's been weeks since his grandfather's funeral and yoogeon still doesn't know how to react when random strangers come up to him with their condolences. some of the old folk have gone on about how happy they are that yoogeon was there to actually handle everything as if they knew his grandfather had left everything to him. others... well, were slightly less accepting of his appearance and seemed to shun him for disappearing all these years. all in all, it was no one's business and yoogeon was getting tired of having to listen to an ajumma every five minutes go on about how much he had grown and what he should do to take care of the farmlands and stall appropriately. if they new the truth about how he was trying to get rid of everything, he'd probably get even more earfuls from all of them.
even though yoogeon never felt close to his grandfather, he still had morals and valued certain traditions. now that he was in yunhwa, and no matter how burdensome everything was feeling, he was still going to pay respects to his grandparents. yet at the same time, none of it really made sense considering how much he really despised them. in other words, maybe yoogeon was still processing in his own way after seeing how much his father was truly grieving the loss of his own father despite how overwhelming and straining their relationship seemed. maybe it was guilt driving him... either way... yoogeon just wanted to face whatever he was feeling and move on.
clad in his black suit, yoogeon approached the flower stall - garden noh-me - to pick up the flower wreaths he had placed orders for earlier that week by phone. after going through some of his grandfather's notes, he had seen that there seemed to be a small sum of money indebted to the owners from past business transactions and figured he'd knock that down while picking up his order.
"hi, i'm here to pick up two flower wreath orders under han yoogeon." he simply says as he pulls out his wallet. "and is the owner here? i believe there are a few payments under han daeshim that need to be paid."
yoogeon is quick with his words, eyes focused on pulling out his wallet and checking the time on his watch as he's diving right to the point. it's only when he looks up that he does a double take as he stares at the younger male in front of him, feeling a sense of familiarity?
"i'm sorry... have we met before?"
having lived in the city for all her life, somin wasn’t used to being so close to a body of water. this was probably her favorite thing about yunhwa. there was so much open space readily available for whenever she needed to get a breath of fresh air or clear her mind. aunt haeyoung had recently contacting her, telling her how she’d probably have to stay at yunhwa for at least a couple more months. it’s agitating that she isn’t getting any details, but she also understands where her aunt is coming from. the only thing she got from the conversation was to stay safe and hide herself.
she comes down to the beach probably at least twice a week. it’s her favorite place here at yunhwa, and she’s noticed that other people seem to share the same sentiment. however, she couldn’t help but grow suspicious of a particular figure that she always sees hanging around the same area as herself. he hasn’t done anything but after the most recent conversation with her aunt, she decides that he could potentially be harmful.
upon seeing him once more that night, she took a deep breath, closed her eyes before firmly coming to a decision to confront him. walking straight up to him, she stopped his tracks and stood in front of him. “who are you? did one of my uncles send you?” her words are ice cold. it’s the way she speaks to any of her family members, and she knows there’s probably fire coming from her eyes, but she’s been taught to stand her ground. look tall and strong.

when she’d heard of yunho’s birthday approaching through the grapevine, jiyeon’s mind was quick to think up a small gift for the other. during their occasional lunch outings, he often gifted her with beautiful flower arrangements that brightened up her desk for weeks. she thought it to be fitting to try her hand at putting a small bouquet together for the birthday boy, hoping that sentiments would come across well. as she waited at their agreed meeting place, jiyeon hid the bouquet behind her petite frame, keeping a careful eye out for the other’s arrival before managing to catch sight of his familiar face.
“happy birthday, flower boy!” she greeted with a bright smile, holding the flowers out towards him. “i admit that i’m a bit nervous about presenting this arrangement to a professional, but i hope you like them.”
