it shouldn’t have come as a surprise to jiyeon that running into yuna was going to evoke some form of excitement at one point or another. while she’d come to value the other as a friend to sit in tranquil quiet with, there were a handful of moments that truly kept jiyeon on her toes. attending this event today, the last thing the secretary planned to do was play tag. and while she initially joined to humor the children, jiyeon certainly didn’t believed that she’d be needing to humor yuna, too. “i can’t run in these heels, you know. and if these stockings get a run in them, you owe me a whole new pack, go yuna.”

it's been a busy and long day for yoogeon and it's only past noon. he's running a bit late on time after all the phone calls he's had to make with the office and then meeting his lawyer so he's a bit restless if anything and just wants something to eat. before he can really stop to consider where he wants to enjoy his lunch though, there's one last stop to the post office where he has to send in all the forms for ownership of properties, paying bills and picking up any incoming mail addressed to his grandfather.

seeing as it was around lunch time, he was hoping that the office was still open since he didn't exactly remember their hours having only been there once or twice to check on any incoming mail or packages. what he hoped for even more was that it there was no one so he wouldn't be held up but... it seems that wouldn't be the case for today.

he had just wanted it to be a quick visit, drop in - drop out however the young female talking to the employee at the counter seemed to have other plans. in all honesty, yoogeon usually minded his own business but it would be a complete lie if he didn't say he was at least a little interested in why said female had as many packages as she did piled beside the counter. so without much choice, he simply waited behind, double checking that he had all the letters he needed to mail out while silently listening to the conversation from behind.

usually, kangdae’s more polite. he never took the last of anything. if there was only one milk cartoon he would turn away and pick something else, if that nice jacket was the only one left, he would ask a store clerk if there was something in the back. but not today, today the cafe finally had the matcha bread he’s been craving.

yes there was only one left, but come on he’s been rea—, someone was heading towards HIS bread. nope, long legs almost leap over, and swiftly grabbed the package of bread. 

he almost sighs in relief until he hears someone..well more like the person he pushed passed called out to him.

“no..uh, “ he looks down at the sweet and beautiful matcha bread, “ i’m just trying to grab a snack for myself!”
