I feel like family is not only people who share your blood but the people who add to your being. The people who rub off on you and help mold you into the person you are today. Thats family. Let me tell you about my brother Andre. He continues to be an inspiration to me on so many different levels. He is constantly reminding me to be positive, and try to  be optimistic to whatever chaos may be going on around me and always has me striving to not only do better but to be better. Thank you Andre.

Spent the day waiting on Aleko, sucked. He showed up to my house with friends, sucked. We went out to eat at the restaurant I work at, they wouldn't give me an employee discount because it was a weekend, sucked. Our food wasn't make right, really sucked. Went around with my friends, everyone was smoking and I don't so that sucked. But then we drove to Orange County so I could see my brother and his family...

After the movie we split. We went by Mcdonalds. We were actually there until like 3 am. Talking, catching up, kicking the soccer ball around the parking lot with Aleko. It was chill. We took some pictures too. When Andre and I were leaving we saw some NBA players outside the hotel, it was cool. Saw this guy in anther cope Lamborghini, it was pretty dope too. Then he dropped me off at my friends, cool.

So right now I'm sitting on Megabus on my way back home and I'm trying to reflect back on the past couple days. So here's to day one of being 20. I spent the day on my way to Union station and when I got there I took the metro to meet up with Steven. That was cool. We hung out, went to his house, played basketball then went back to his house. I was blowing up Andre's phone the whole time because I thought we were going to meet way earlier to go to the movies but he couldn't quite leave yet. I kept freaking out, like always, and Andre said the simplest thing that shifted my whole attitude, "chill, take a deep breathe, it's ok ill just be there a little later. its not a big deal or anything". I was instantly calm, it's weird actually how that worked because usually people telling me to calm down makes me even more mad. Anyways..Andre came, picked me up, we drove to the movies, bickered back and forth jokingly like always, then got to the movies. We saw this Lamborghini on the way from the parking garage (I got a pic) and then we met Aleko outside the movies and watched the movie. It was actually really fun.

I would like to take this time to say thank you. Thank you God. Thank you family. Thank you friends. Thank you teachers. Thank you neighbors. Thank you classmates. Thank you managers. Thank you co workers. Thank you parents of friends. Thank you grandparents. Thank you to the person in the car who let me cross the street first. Thank you to the person who pointed me in the direction my dogs ran when they got out. Thank you. Thank you pilots who got me to my destinations safely. Thank you. Thank you everyone who have contributed to the past 19 almost 20 years of my life. Thank you for helping mold me into the person I am today, I can't wait until the day I can give you the joy you have given me in all of the things you have all done. I am blessed to say the least. And for that I am so thankful.

"Friends"

People who are "always there for you" even though you always have to ask him to be. The ones who make you feel like you're not foot enough or worthy enough ever. the ones who care so much about you and how you're doing yet they never ask or just want to check in with you. The ones you ALWAYS have to text first. The ones you're scared to talk to when you're actually going through something because you feel like you're just going to be judged. Those people that smile in your face but don't hesitate to jump in when you're not around and people are talking about you and it never even crosses their mind to stick up for you. Those people who wouldn't even attempt to do half of the things you'd be willing to do for them. Yeah, that's "friendship".

I'm starting to calm down but I'm still pretty mad. Someone finally fessed up to the egging and tipi'ing of m house last year. They also confessed that two of the people with them were two of my really good friends. To this day those two that were my friends haven't said a single thing to me about that night. I didn't even know they knew what happened because I didn't tell anyone. The people broke one the windows of my house downstairs and cracked an old sculpture my grandmother made for me when I was little. I'm not as mad about the fact that it happened as I am about the fact that my "best friends" never came forth. So they've been smiling to my face and hanging out with me and what not everyday over the past year but showing people where I live and egging and destroying my house bye night. I called one of them out about it as soon as I found out and she says they we're being good friends and refused to get out of the car and participate. But in my eyes they're just as guilty for not trying to stop it or at least telling me the next day. Am I the only one who feels that way? I don't know. I guess that just goes to show how in high school you can trust NO ONE. It's like a free for all, everyone's shady to everyone. Its disgusting.
