I also don't like how discourse about femmephobia and "not like other girls" sometimes veers into accusing masculine women of internalised misogyny because they reject feminine virtues in favour of acting like men. It's similar to what Feminist Frequency said about how True Grit and Fury Road shouldn't be considered feminist because the heroines prioritise and embrace masculine violence over feminine cooperation and communication
Fury Road?
FURY. ROAD?
You mean that super cool movie with the masculine woman lead WHO WAS HELPING AND PROTECTING FIVE FEMININE WOMEN WHO WERE ALSO INTERESTING CHARACTERS?
THAT Fury Road?
...I can’t.
