Day 5~ Inspired by a statue of a baby monk in Dali ancient town and the beautiful lotus pond in Xizhou.
We went to watch Dynamic Yunnan, which is a famous ethnic minority song and dance performance here in Yunnan. It was just so amazing...seriously. I was inspired by one part of the performance called “Eclipse” and painted this. I really wanted to show how fantastic the performance was but couldn’t find a better way...
It was a busy day~ Took a quick sketch of the cute boat we took at Dian Lake. The shape of it is very special.
